The Wayzata Real Estate market was very busy in March of 2017 with a 64.3% increase in new listings versus a year ago, a 33.3% surge in closed sales, and an 83.3% change in the median sales price.
The median sales price in March of 2017 was $660,000 versus $360,000 a year ago. Year to date Median sales price was up to $542,500 from $510,000 in 2016. The average salesl prices was $626,488 in March of 2017, versus $427,667 for the period a year ago.
Price per square foot continues to be strong in Wayzata at $198 per square foot versus a year ago at $184 per square foot. Sellers can expect to receive 95.5% of the original list price versus 93.1% in the period last year. Inventory is up 24% with 62 homes for sale versus 50 from a year ago, equating to a 6.5 month supply of inventory.
